A Beautiful Kitchen Renovation to Match the Character of The House

The homeowner's kitchen, while functional, did not align with the overall character and the layout they were wanting. They contacted SJ Carpentry to get that fixed!

When the homeowner reached out about their kitchen renovation, they had a strong vision but needed help pulling everything together. The home had character throughout, yet the kitchen felt disconnected. We came in to fix that.

We worked with the homeowner to find the kitchen design they loved, using inspirational photos and different color palettes to narrow things down. We worked out the best layout for the space, making sure we know exactly what they wanted.

The cabinets were sourced locally, right down the street actually, so that made things easier as far as gathering the materials.

Two standout design elements were used in this renovation. The homeowner loved a green tile but didn’t want it to overwhelm the space, so we suggested using it as an accent behind the stove. It became a natural focal point and added personality without overpowering the kitchen. The green island followed, inspired by two-tone cabinet designs the homeowner really liked.

The entire renovation was completed in about three weeks. Throughout the process, we kept communication open with weekly updates for the homeowner.

We loved working on this project. The tile design we loved implementing, especially behind the stove!
